On April 10, 2025, Professor Lü Peng (吕澎) was invited to attend the book launch of designer Yin Jiulong in Milan, Italy. He also wrote the preface for the publication This is My World: The Creative Language of Yin Jiulong .
Later in April, Professor Lü Peng was also invited to attend the exhibition of artist Li Yongzheng held at the MART Museum in Italy.
From April 14 to 19, Professor Lü Peng led members of the translation team for A Concise Encyclopedia of the Renaissance in a focused workshop at the Villa Rucellai in Prato.
The Rucellai family was a prominent lineage during the Italian Renaissance, closely connected to the Medici through marriage and engaged with thinkers like Machiavelli. Notably, Giovanni di Paolo Rucellai (1403–1481) was a significant patron of the arts and architecture, commissioning the Palazzo Rucellai and authoring the Zibaldone, a collection reflecting Renaissance humanist thought.
By convening at the historic Rucellai Garden—once part of the family’s estate—the translation team immersed themselves in an environment steeped in humanist tradition and cultural exchange. This setting provided not only a conducive atmosphere for scholarly collaboration but also served as a symbolic homage to the enduring spirit of the Renaissance, reinforcing the team’s commitment to completing this vital reference work.

On April 22, Skira conducted an interview with Professor Lü Peng, engaging in an in-depth discussion about his new book Emergence of the Patriarch: The Mao Xuhui Storyon Mao Xuhui .
On Apirl 23, Conducting a site visit at The Museum of Cultures (Lugano) in preparation for the 2025 end-of-year exhibition by artist Chen Xi. In the evening, meeting with Marco Scotini, Artistic Director of FM Contemporary Art Center, for a discussion and dinner.
On April 24th, in Turin, met with Salvo Bitonti, the Director of the Academy of Fine Arts of Turin, and visited the Academy's museum. In the afternoon, was invited to visit the Mazzoleni Gallery.
On April 25, in Rome, Professor Lü Peng was invited to visit the studio of artist Shay Frisch Peri.
On May 3, Professor Lü Peng and his team were in Venice preparing for the exhibition Zhang Zhaoying: Lifelong Beauty . The exhibition opened on May 7 at the Grimani Palace Museum in Venice and will run through August 3, 2025.
